Affiliate Partner Integration Overview

VinAudit.com allows software vendors who serve dealerships to easily offer NMVTIS reports through VinAudit.com without a performing a full-blown integration with our API. Here’s how it works:
1. Add a “Get NMVTIS Report” button within your software’s view for a vehicle.
2. When a dealer clicks that button, it opens a special webpage on VinAudit.com.
3. VinAudit.com will take it from there, displaying one of the following:
    » The NMVTIS vehicle history report (if already generated)
    » A confirmation to generate the report (if not generated)
    » A registration/login form for the dealer (if not registered yet)

Implementation Details

On click of “Get NMVTIS Report”, open a browser window to:

• https://www.vinaudit.com/p/go.php

With GET or POST parameters:

• pid: Your unique partner login ID
• uid: A unique ID identifying the user of your application
• vin: The vehicle identification number (or blank if none)
• hash: The security hash of MD5_HASH("key,userid,vin") where key is your API key (to be kept private)
• mode (optional): Set to “test” of in test mode; otherwise, omit
• mobile (optional): Set to “1” to load the mobile report interface; otherwise, omit
